ServiceSeal Terms and Conditions

Version 1.0 (terms-1.0) · Effective date: October 14, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between Bravo Sierra Tech LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company doing business as ServiceSeal (“ServiceSeal,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and the person or business accepting them (“you” or “User”). They govern the ServiceSeal mobile application, the serviceseal.app website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

PLEASE READ SECTION 15 CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES MOST DISPUTES TO BE RESOLVED BY INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, WAIVES CLASS PROCEEDINGS AND JURY TRIALS, AND PROVIDES A 30-DAY RIGHT TO OPT OUT.

By checking the acceptance box and selecting Create account, or by affirmatively accepting a later version when presented, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that you received the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

1. Eligibility and business use

You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a contract, operating a United States trade or business, and using the Service primarily for that business. If you accept for a company or other legal entity, you represent that you may bind it and “you” means that entity. If you operate as a sole proprietor, you accept these Terms personally.

ServiceSeal is designed for solo and small service professionals. A homeowner or other customer who reviews or signs a document created by a User is not thereby a ServiceSeal User and does not accept these Terms.

2. What ServiceSeal does—and does not do

ServiceSeal helps a User create and organize offers, record customer agreement, capture an on-device signature, preserve approved changes in a hash-linked record, mark work complete, record payment status, generate documents, and back up the User’s records. A User may also record that a customer agreed verbally, by text, or by email; the Service labels that record as not signed and not sealed.

ServiceSeal is a recordkeeping tool. We are not a party to any agreement between a User and a customer; do not perform, supervise, warrant, price, or inspect the User’s work; do not employ either party; do not collect the User’s customer payments; and do not provide legal, tax, accounting, licensing, insurance, or other professional advice.

A seal helps detect certain later changes to information recorded in the application. It is created on the User’s device. It is not an identity verification, notarization, trusted timestamp, or third-party certification. It does not show who signed, that a person signed voluntarily or had authority to sign, or when signing actually occurred, and it does not prove that work was performed, that money was paid, or that an agreement is legally valid or enforceable. No feature guarantees avoidance or resolution of a dispute.

3. Account, security, and backup

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and devices and for activity under your account. Do not share credentials or allow another person to use the account in a way that defeats plan or security limits. Notify support@serviceseal.app promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

The application keeps your records on your device so that it works without a network connection. When your device is connected, the Service automatically backs up your records to our servers, and signing in on another device restores them. Records created or changed while your device is offline are backed up only once it reconnects. We do not guarantee that the backup is complete, current, or available at every moment. You remain responsible for protecting your device and for keeping exports of the records that matter to your business. Deleting your account deletes the backup, and deleted records cannot be restored.

4. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service for your internal business purposes during the applicable trial or subscription and any read-only period the Service provides.

You may not:

  • use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to mislead, harass, or harm another person;
  • enter, capture, or share information without the rights, notices, or permissions required to do so;
  • forge a signature, falsely record agreement, impersonate someone, or misrepresent an unsealed record as signed or independently verified;
  • upload malicious code; interfere with security, access controls, usage limits, or integrity features; probe for vulnerabilities without written permission; or access another user’s information;
  • scrape, copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits;
  • resell, sublicense, rent, white-label, or use the Service to create a competing product; or
  • remove proprietary notices or use our marks without permission.

5. Your content and customer information

As between you and ServiceSeal, you retain ownership of the business information, agreement terms, job records, customer details, signatures, logos, and other content you enter or create (“User Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, back up, and create technical derivatives of User Content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service, comply with law, and perform actions you request. We do not use agreement content or signatures to train general-purpose or public AI models. This license ends when the relevant content is deleted from our systems, subject to lawful retention and routine backup cycles described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights, authority, notices, and consents needed for User Content and our permitted processing. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, and appropriateness, including customer names, contact details, addresses, terms, and signatures. Do not enter Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, health information, information about minors, or other sensitive information that the Service does not request.

For customer information, you ordinarily act as the business responsible for the data, and ServiceSeal acts only on your instructions when it processes that information for you, including when it backs it up. You must respond appropriately to customer privacy requests. The application lets you remove a customer’s name, contact details, and signature images; the service address, job details, and integrity records in a sealed agreement remain, because they are part of what was sealed.

You may place an agreement on dispute hold only when you reasonably and in good faith believe its customer details are needed for an active dispute, legal claim, or preservation obligation. A hold defers customer-detail removal for that agreement. You must review and clear the hold promptly when its reason ends and must not use it to avoid a valid privacy request. A dispute hold does not prevent you from deleting your entire ServiceSeal account and its records.

6. Your customer agreements and legal compliance

You—not ServiceSeal—decide what to offer, charge, include, exclude, promise, and require from a customer. You are solely responsible for reviewing every document and for complying with the laws and professional obligations that apply to your business and to each transaction, including contractor licensing, permits, insurance, taxes, required contract language, consumer disclosures, record delivery and retention, cancellation or cooling-off rights, home-improvement rules, and electronic-signature consent.

Home solicitation, cooling-off, and local requirements. Many agreements made with the Service are signed at a customer’s home or another place that is not your place of business. Federal, state, and local laws, including the Federal Trade Commission’s Cooling-Off Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 429) and state home-solicitation, door-to-door, and home-improvement contract laws, may give your customer a right to cancel, and may require you to give specific notices in a specific form, type size, placement, language, and timing, and to give the customer a copy of the agreement when it is signed. ServiceSeal does not determine whether any such law applies to a transaction; does not provide or generate any cancellation notice or other required disclosure; and does not design its documents, signing screens, or sharing features to satisfy the form, placement, type-size, or delivery requirements of any law. If a law requires a notice or disclosure, you must provide it yourself in the form and manner that law requires, which may mean on paper and separately from the Service. If you do not, your customer’s right to cancel may continue, and your agreement may be cancellable or unenforceable.

Electronic signatures and records can have legal effect, but applicable law may require particular notices, consent, formatting, timing, copies, or records capable of retention. If a law requires information to be given to a customer in writing, giving it electronically may require the customer’s prior consent after specific disclosures under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001(c)) or state law. ServiceSeal does not obtain that consent, does not determine whether a transaction qualifies, does not supply jurisdiction-specific legal language, and does not confirm that your process satisfies any requirement. You must give the customer a meaningful opportunity to review the complete terms, correct errors, choose whether to transact electronically when required, and receive and retain an accurate copy.

Any prompt or shortcut that helps you share a document is provided for convenience. ServiceSeal does not send the document itself, verify that a customer received it, or determine that you satisfied a legal delivery requirement. You remain responsible for delivering required copies at the time the law requires, including where the application lets you skip or postpone sending a copy, and for keeping any proof of delivery your business needs.

If you record agreement without a customer signature, you are recording your own account of what happened. You must have a good-faith basis for it and must not present it as customer-signed or ServiceSeal-verified.

You, not ServiceSeal, are responsible for the consequences of any failure to comply with laws that apply to your business or your transactions, including any cancellation, refund, penalty, or claim, as provided in Section 14.

7. Trial, subscription, billing, and cancellation

ServiceSeal’s launch offering includes one 21-day unrestricted trial per eligible User or business, without a payment card and without automatic conversion to a paid plan. When the trial ends, the account pauses unless you purchase a subscription. If you purchase a subscription during the trial, you are charged at purchase and the first renewal is moved back by the trial days remaining, so your first paid month begins when the trial ends.

The launch subscription is monthly only and is currently US$12.99 per month, plus applicable taxes. At purchase, the exact price, taxes, renewal disclosure, and store billing terms displayed by the Apple App Store or Google Play also apply. A paid subscription automatically renews each month until canceled through the store account that made the purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, which the application links to. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period.

Apple or Google processes subscription payments and refunds under its terms. We do not receive full payment-card or bank credentials. Except where required by law or allowed by the applicable store, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated credits for a partial month.

When a trial or subscription lapses, the Service may stop new seals, changes, or other paid actions. A lapse alone does not place a paywall in front of sealed records already available on the device. That statement is not a guarantee against device loss, deletion, corruption, account termination for cause, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service. Canceling a subscription does not delete the account, and deleting an account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. These are separate actions.

8. Changes, availability, and beta features

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that a planned feature, verification service, integration, or platform version will be released. Features identified as beta, preview, or experimental may be incomplete, change materially, or fail.

We will use reasonable care in operating the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability, including of the backup. If we materially discontinue a paid Service, we will provide reasonable notice when practical and any refund required by law or the applicable app store. You should export important records rather than depend on future access to our software.

9. Third-party services and app stores

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, including Supabase, IONOS, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, email delivery providers, email or messaging applications, cloud storage, and payment links selected by a User. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its terms. We are not responsible for its content, availability, security, fees, policies, or conduct. Names of payment services and other third parties are trademarks of their owners, who are not affiliated with ServiceSeal.

If you downloaded the application from Apple, these Terms are between you and ServiceSeal, not Apple. ServiceSeal—not Apple—is responsible for the application, support, and claims concerning it, subject to these Terms. Your license is limited to Apple-branded products you own or control and the App Store usage rules. If the application fails an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple’s responsibility is limited to any refund it is required to provide. ServiceSeal is responsible for addressing third-party intellectual-property claims concerning the application. You represent that you are not in a U.S.-embargoed location or on a U.S. restricted-party list, and you will comply with third-party terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this paragraph and may enforce it.

10. ServiceSeal property and feedback

The Service, software, design, documentation, name, logos, and other materials we provide are owned by ServiceSeal or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 4, no right is transferred to you.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation. Do not submit feedback you expect us to keep confidential.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you received the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is not intended to create contractual rights beyond those provided by these Terms or applicable law. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict about handling personal information, the Privacy Policy controls.

12. Suspension, termination, export, and deletion

You may stop using the Service, cancel a subscription through the applicable app store, export available information, or delete your account at any time. Account deletion is permanent. It deletes your records from our servers, including the backup, as described in the Privacy Policy, and may destroy agreement records and signatures that you or a customer later need, including records on dispute hold. Deleted records cannot be restored. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google.

We may suspend or terminate access when you materially breach these Terms; fail to pay; create security, fraud, legal, or safety risk; or when required by law. When practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before terminating for breach. We may also terminate the Service on reasonable advance notice.

Upon termination, your license ends except for any limited read-only access we expressly provide. Sections concerning ownership, User Content responsibility, legal compliance, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, disputes, and general terms survive as their nature requires.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, RECORDS, BACKUPS, CALCULATIONS, EXPORTS, DOCUMENTS, SEALS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SECURE, AVAILABLE, LEGALLY SUFFICIENT, COMPLIANT WITH ANY LAW APPLICABLE TO YOUR TRANSACTIONS, OR FIT FOR YOUR PARTICULAR TRANSACTION.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

14. Limitation of liability and indemnity

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVICESEAL AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US$100 OR (B) THE FEES YOU PAID TO SERVICESEAL FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for our fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence to the extent applicable law prohibits limitation.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ServiceSeal and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, damages, judgments, and reasonable legal costs arising from your professional services; User Content; customer agreements, signatures, cancellations, or payment disputes; your failure to give any notice, disclosure, or copy a law requires; violation of law or another person’s rights; or material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. We may control the defense with counsel of our choice, and you may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent.

15. Disputes, arbitration, and class-action waiver

15.1 Informal resolution

Before filing arbitration or a lawsuit, the complaining party must send a written notice describing the dispute, relevant account email, supporting facts, and requested relief. Notice to ServiceSeal goes to support@serviceseal.app; notice to a User goes to the email address on the User’s account. The parties will try in good faith to resolve the dispute for 30 days after receipt. A limitations period is tolled during that 30-day period.

15.2 Individual arbitration

Except for the carve-outs below and Users who timely opt out, any dispute arising from or relating to the Service, these Terms, or the parties’ relationship will be resolved by final, binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. If AAA determines its Consumer Arbitration Rules apply, those rules will apply instead. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration provision. A single arbitrator may award the same individual remedies a court could award. A hearing may occur remotely when the applicable rules permit. Judgment on an award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

15.3 Jury and class waiver

YOU AND SERVICESEAL WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR MEMBER IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, MASS, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The arbitrator may not combine claims of different persons without every party’s written consent. If a final decision finds this waiver unenforceable for a particular claim or remedy, only that claim or remedy will proceed in court after arbitrable matters are completed.

15.4 Carve-outs

Either party may bring a qualifying individual claim in small-claims court, seek temporary or injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or prevent unauthorized access or security abuse, or communicate with and participate in a government agency proceeding.

15.5 Arbitration opt-out

You may opt out of Sections 15.2 and 15.3 by emailing support@serviceseal.app within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Use the subject Arbitration Opt-Out and include your full name, account email, business name, and an unambiguous statement that you opt out. Opting out affects no other term.

15.6 Governing law and court venue

Kentucky law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs arbitration. For a dispute properly proceeding in court, each party consents to exclusive jurisdiction in the Kentucky state courts located in Madison County or the applicable federal court in the Eastern District of Kentucky, except that a qualifying small-claims action may be filed where applicable law allows.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms prospectively. We will post the revised version and effective date and provide reasonable additional notice of material changes. If a change requires consent, we will present the revised Terms for affirmative acceptance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law.

A material change to Section 15 will not apply to a dispute arising before the change. You may reject a future material arbitration change by following the opt-out procedure within 30 days after notice; the prior arbitration language will then continue to govern.

17. General terms and contact

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning the Service unless we sign a separate written agreement with you. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary or severed, and the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business. We are not liable for delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Headings are for convenience only.

Legal notices to ServiceSeal must be sent by email to the address below, unless applicable law requires another method. Formal legal process may be served on our registered agent, as listed with the Kentucky Secretary of State.
