What you have

One clear picture of the job.

Clear jobs, clear agreements, and no surprises, for you and the pro you hired.

Your service pro sent you a document with the work, the price and the next step in one place, with their name and number on it. Read it at your own pace. If something looks wrong or missing, ask before the work moves on: that’s what it’s for.

It’s one of these: an offer (the work and price, waiting for your yes), an agreement (what you both agreed), a revised offer or revised agreement (the job after a change, with the original still shown), a payment request (what’s owed and how to pay your pro), or a payment summary (your receipt).

Keep it. It’s your record of the job.

The words on it

Agreed, recorded, signed.

  • Agreed

You said yes to the work and the price. The document shows how you said it.

  • Signed

You signed on your pro’s phone. A signed agreement’s footer reads Sealed by ServiceSeal.

  • Recorded

You said yes verbally, by text or by email, and your pro recorded it. The document says so, and that it wasn’t signed.

Good to know

Questions about the work go to your pro.

  • Your pro has the answers.

Their name and number are on the document. ServiceSeal makes the document; the work, the price and the schedule are theirs.

  • No account to make.

There’s nothing to sign up for. Everything you need is on the document.

  • Paying goes straight to your pro.

A payment request’s codes open your pro’s own payment apps. ServiceSeal never handles the money.

  • Your pro is their own business.

ServiceSeal is the tool they use. It doesn’t vouch for any pro’s work, licensing or insurance, so ask them what you’d ask anyone you hire.

Know a service pro who’d like this? Pass it along.

Questions about your details on a job record go to your service pro. Our Privacy Policy explains how ServiceSeal handles that information.
